When is the payment date for online credit card payments?

When your reservation is completed, the amount is authorized on your card (authorization/pre-authorization), and the actual payment is finalized (capture) on the day of use (the rental date).
If your cancellation is completed before the date of use, the authorization hold will be automatically released (refunded).
